December 16, 2022 - Shortest "Trip" Ever

My 3rd trip in my career that I took pictures on, even though I only took 20 pictures the whole time (A record low that wouldn't be broken for almost 2 years). Every photo from then was in Greene County, VA, but a short part of this "trip" was in Orange County.

"Trip" Summary:

I left my house between 4:15 and 4:25 PM, taking my first picture of the day just east of Ruckersville, at 4:26 PM. Less than a minute later, I had already taken 7 photos, with 2 more being taken at 4:27 PM. At 4:28 PM, I turned right onto SR-1105 to stop at a house, leaving at around 4:45 PM.

My first photo of the day.

US 33 construction in Ruckersville.

SR-743 and SR-1105.

I took a picture of the stop sign, before going back on West US 33. At 4:49 PM, I took 2 more photos, before turning onto SR-609, and immediately turning left onto F1118. At 4:51 PM, I reached Business US 33, taking my final photo of the trip at the stop sign.

The stop sign at the south end of SR-1105.

My last photo of the trip.

After:

Not much major stuff happened after or due to this trip, but it was my first trip involving my home county, even if it was <10 miles long with 20 photos.

Those 20 photos also went down as the least number of pictures I've taken on a trip during my career. That low would stand until October 11, 2024, when I took a trip to Lynchburg, VA while taking only two pictures, which becomes one if we only include pictures not extremely close to the destination.
