This trip was the 2nd one I've ever taken photos on, and I set a very short lived (and mediocre) record for the most photos I've taken in a day, with 73. This is the original trip to Waynesboro, VA, not the "redo" from December 5, 2023.
Trip to Waynesboro - Part One
I left my house sometime before 10:08 AM, which is when I took my first photo of the trip. Shortly after, I entered Albemarle County and left Orange County via VA-20. At 10:19 AM, I took my 3rd photo of the trip, at the VA-20/SR-649/SR-1494 roundabout. At 10:26 AM, I reached US 250, and turned east. 3 minutes later, I took what is currently my most viewed Flickr image, and turned west onto I-64. At 10:32 AM, I reached VA-20, and at 10:47 AM, I reached SR-712 in Keene. After that, I took multiple secondary routes, and arrived at my first destination.

Trip to Waynesboro - Part Two
Sometime between 10:47 AM and 11:16 AM, I left the first destination, and headed towards Waynesboro. I took my first image on this part of the trip at 11:16 AM, before putting the camera down until 11:28 AM, where I started taking pictures more frequently, mostly due to me reaching US 250 and the construction at the VA-151 roundabout. At 11:34 AM, I turned onto West I-64, and at 11:39 AM, I turned south onto US 340. I then turned into the Waynesboro Town Center to do some shopping.

At around 3:15 PM, I left to go back over the mountains. I took my first picture on the way back at 3:18 PM, and at 3:23 PM, I took the 1000th picture I have ever taken with my iPhone. I continued down the mountains, re-entering Albemarle County, and passing through Exit 107 between 3:29 and 3:30 PM. At 3:38 PM, I took exit 118B onto North US 29, before taking my final photo of the trip about a minute later.

Afterwards:
I set my personal photos in a single day record, with 73. This would be broken on January 1, 2023. 2 days after this trip, I created Hunty Roads. Exactly one year after the trip, I created this post for the trip, and the post finally found a permanent home here on Hunty's Travels when it got re-released on February 8, 2025.
Not many photos from this day found themselves anywhere important, but a photo I took of a weird sign on US 250 became my most viewed Flickr image. 360 days later, on December 5, 2023, I "redid" this trip, with a lot more photos in my modern style, with some throwback style photos included.
